Be part of a statewide action to support the Climate and Community Investment Act (CLCPA), a ‘make polluters pay’ bill to provide funding to implement the just transition to a renewable energy future for NYS ushered in by the 2019 Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act. We are gathering at noon April 7th for a small, masked, socially-distanced RALLY outside 840 University Ave, Rochester, NY 14607. We cheered passage of CLCPA but it lacked a funding stream. Bring your mask and signs and show up to demonstrate that you want NYS to meet and surpass the greenhouse gas reduction schedule of CLCPA, and that fossil fuel companies should pay to get us there.
