The 2023 Climate Solutions Summit served as a focal point for community engagement, drawing a diverse group of participants to discuss regenerative economy principles and explore innovative solutions across various sectors. The Accelerator also organized a book club leading up to the Summit, engaging 25 participants in discussions on Doughnut Economics: Seven Ways to Think Like a 21st-Century Economist by Kate Raworth.

The Climate Solutions Accelerator and its volunteers demonstrated significant progress and engagement in advancing climate action in the Genesee-Finger Lakes Region. Notably, organizational commitment to climate action was evident through the signing of the Climate Action Pledge by five new organizations, underscoring a growing recognition of the importance of addressing climate change at the organizational level. Moreover, proactive community outreach efforts, including tabling at numerous events and mobilizing volunteers, yielded tangible results, with 245 individuals pledging to take action on climate change. These initiatives collectively reflect a dedicated effort to mobilize stakeholders, raise awareness, and drive meaningful action towards building a more sustainable and resilient future for the region.
