Annual Climate Solutions Summit to Unite Regional Leaders, Businesses and Advocates to Shape Our Region’s Future

Rochester, NY – The Climate Solutions Accelerator is hosting its annual Climate Solutions Summit on Friday, April 4 and Saturday, April 5 at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center. This energizing two-day event will bring together regional leaders, policymakers, business professionals, and community members to co-create solutions that advance a healthier, more equitable, and regenerative Genesee-Finger Lakes region.

This year’s theme, "Co-Creating Our Future," will focus on bold action and collective impact. From skill-building workshops to panel discussions, networking, and live performances, the Summit will spark connection and mobilization across sectors and communities.

Friday, April 4 – Organizations in Action
Geared toward professionals, business leaders, and policymakers the first day will explore how institutions can drive meaningful climate progress. Highlights include:

  • Panel discussions on organizational responsibility and collective impact

  • Interactive workshops and networking that explores strategies for driving climate action within organizations

  • A special performance and interactive experience by Garth Fagan Dance

Saturday, April 5 – Citizens in Action
Saturday welcomes community members, activists, students, and residents to explore how they can make an impact. The day will feature:

  • A keynote address and Q&A with Kit Miller, Director Emeritus of the M.K. Gandhi Institute for Nonviolence and author of Culture Shift: Nonviolence at Work 

  • Panel discussions and skill-building workshops on topics such as climate psychology, grassroots organizing, and equitable climate action

  • The Better Futures Fair, showcasing local organizations leading climate and sustainability initiatives in the region
