As the Community and Customer Experience Officer, Corinda Reaves leads the efforts at RTS in designing and delivering strategies that create positive community and customer experiences.  Her previous experience in both local and state government gives her a unique perspective of the needs of the customers who rely on RTS.  

She brings to her current position a vast knowledge base having been a member of Adam Bello’s Administration as Deputy Monroe County Executive for Health and Human Services, where she led the charge in ensuring the health and wellbeing of Monroe County residents.

Prior to serving as Deputy Monroe County Executive, Mrs. Reaves served as Commissioner of the Monroe County Department for Human Services, Director of the New York State Office for the Aging (NYSOFA), Assistant Secretary for Health and Mental Hygiene in the Governor’s administration, Executive Deputy Director of NYSOFA, and director of Monroe County Office for the Aging. 

Ms. Reaves has spent more than 27 years in government service working with special needs populations, including homeless youth, the mentally ill and chemically addicted, victims of domestic violence, persons with HIV and AIDS, individuals with developmental disabilities, and the older adult population.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in psychology from SUNY Brockport and earned her master’s degree from Syracuse University.
