For more than 20 years Neely Kelley has been passionate about, and committed to, authentic and effective local community engagement. She served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Central Africa, worked for seven years as a community organizer in the climate movement, and is now Stakeholder Relations Senior Manager for New York and the Northeast at AES. There she developed a comprehensive Stakeholder Relations Program to support AES’s role in a swift, just, and complete transition to renewable energy worldwide. AES’ work in the renewable energy industry and commitment to robust stakeholder engagement align not only with societal needs, like those outlined by the UN Sustainable Development Goals, but also market imperatives driven by shareholder demands, customer requirements, and State and National regulatory processes. Neely looks forward to facilitating the discussion on "How can we accelerate the adoption of clean energy in our region."
