Andrea McLean

Public Engagement Coordinator

Andrea has worked in public engagement with a partner organization for 3 years and started her journey with climate change by serving as a resident advisor on the steering committee of the Accelerator. 

Born in Jamaica, Andrea moved to NYC as a teenager and has settled in Rochester for the past 4 years. Andrea studied social sciences at the City University of New York - York College. For more than 15 years, she has worked with disadvantaged and vulnerable populations. While at the Accelerator, Andrea wants to bring the topic of climate change and climate justice to a diverse population.

When she is not working, Andrea enjoys adventures with her family and is most proud of her role as a committed mother and wife.
