Paul Henry

Climate Justice Fellow/Community Organizer

Paul was born and raised in Rochester. He lived in the city of Buffalo while attending Canisius University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Animal Behavior, Ecology, and Conservation (ABEC). After completing his degree, he returned to Rochester to pursue a career in wildlife conservation. After various jobs and experiences working directly with animals, Paul began combining his love for ecology with his desire to live in a metropolitan area. As a result, he now dedicates his time to climate/environmental justice and community outreach through the Climate Solutions Accelerator. As the climate and biodiversity crises disproportionately affect disadvantaged communities, he is committed to addressing these issues by engaging in climate action that reduces greenhouse gas emissions and improves the region's public environmental health and well-being of the region. Paul's work involves advocating for energy efficiency standards in rental properties and increasing green space in urban areas. He is passionate about eco-conservation and aims to create a positive impact on the environment and the community. In his spare time, Paul enjoys spending time with family and friends, exercising, traveling, attending festivals and live performances, and watching anime.
