Taryn Mullen

Senior Director of Operations

Taryn grew up on a small farm in Western New York where she spent a great deal of time outdoors and connected with nature from an early age. After earning her B.A. degrees in Communications/ Journalism and Spanish at St. John Fisher College, Taryn worked for several nonprofit organizations in Rochester and New York City, where her primary focus was managing development, communications, and marketing efforts. Taryn has always felt concerned about climate change and sustainability issues, but traveling to Costa Rica and doing hands-on work with forest restoration and preservation projects in Honduras further inspired her to pursue nonprofit environmental work. At Climate Solutions Accelerator, Taryn partners with individuals, companies, and foundations to help create a more environmentally just and sustainable community. In her spare time, Taryn enjoys sipping bubble tea, playing capoeira, exploring the local food scene, and traveling abroad.
