Mary Staropoli, MPA (she/her) has 25+ years of experience working, volunteering and providing independent consulting services to a wide range of local non-profits and community groups. Her professional mission is to bring expertise, energy, and insight to organizations that create social change, and deliver hope and resources in the Rochester, NY community. Mary currently serves as Executive Director at Reconnect Rochester, an organization that champions transportation and mobility in Monroe County. She leads a staff team of six to produce innovative programming, authentic community engagement, and collaborative advocacy action that will lead to better public transit, expanded mobility options and safer streets for all. Mary is deeply dedicated to the important and inspiring work of seeking transportation equity and mobility justice.

Mary holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College, and a Master of Public Administration with an emphasis in nonprofit management from SUNY Brockport.
