Rob’s professional architectural career started in Salt Lake City, Utah where he worked for an architectural firm while finishing up graduate school. Hewatched the city’s population explode after the Olympics in 2002 and was a part of projects that were a catalyst in the urban revitalization there. He then moved to Miami, Florida where he worked at design studios that designed projects around the world. This perspective of designing in different urban environments helped shape his sensitivities to security, privacy, the public realm and placemaking; attributes that become complex and nuanced in densely populated areas.

Originally born in Rochester, Rob moved back in 2008 and started working atSWBR. His passion for urban design and sustainability fueled him to create an Urban Lifestyle studio within SWBR. His mission is to design beautiful buildings that not only respect the environment, but stand the test of time. He is at the forefront of urban revitalization, designing mixed-use projects where residents can live, work, play and learn. Rob is involved in every detail of the project design and construction, and his clients trust his talents and dedication. He makes their vision a reality.
