Brett Peters

Commercial Energy Advisor

Brett is from Honeoye Falls, NY. After receiving his B.A. from SUNY Oneonta, he pursued an M.A. in Museum Studies from University of East Anglia in Norwich, England. His dissertation was focused on indigenization of museums and opportunities for co-creation between institutions and indigenous communities. Before working at the Accelerator, he worked in accounting positions at both for and non-profit companies around Rochester.

As a Commercial Energy Advisor, Brett will be assisting businesses and commercial spaces around the Finger Lakes with transitioning to clean energy technologies. In his free time, Brett volunteers at the Rochester Military History Society and is an active member of Sunrise Movement Rochester.
