Kristen VanHooreweghe

Senior Director of Programs

Kristen has a Ph.D. in Environmental Sociology and has conducted research on the human relationship to nature in urban settings, environmental justice, and environmental inequality. Kristen worked in academia for many years, teaching Environmental Studies and Sociology, before joining the nonprofit sector. As a long-time climate activist, Kristen welcomes the opportunity to combine her professional training and passion for climate justice in her work for Climate Solutions Accelerator.
